No injuries after Christmas caroler bus crashes on Northshore
News

(WBIR) Northshore Drive fully reopened Sunday night after a school bus carrying a group of young Christmas carolers went into a ditch.

Knox County Sheriff's Office said no one was hurt among the 33 kids and some adults on board from Farragut Presbyterian Church. The accident happened around 7:40 p.m. Sunday.

The church's Director of Children's and Youth Ministries, Katina Sharp, said they were thankful for Rural Metro for allowing the kids to warm up in their ambulance while they waited for a ride to pick them up.

She said some of the older children even sang carols to the younger kids to comfort them after the accident.

KCSO said there was no damage to the bus, but crews shut down Northshore Drive for about two hours to clear the scene.
