WWE Wrestler brings message of kindness to East Tenn. kids

(WBIR) Some East Tennessee children are getting a lesson in kindness from a professional wrestler.

Glenn Jacobs, better known as "Kane" to professional wrestling fans, brought the Kindness Revolution message to four and five year-olds at two children's academies in West Knoxville on Thursday.

The program is sponsored by The Jacobs Agency. The nationwide initiative focuses on bullying awareness and teaches kids to treat others with dignity and respect at a young age.

"I think it is important to talk to children at a young age about values such as kindness and respect and treating people. Really we're talking about the Golden Rule here, treating people as you'd like to be treated," Jacobs said.

As part of the program, the children will receive special wristbands whenever a classmate sees them doing something nice.
