Knoxville's Community Development Corporation renamed two recently renovated affordable housing developments in Knox County.

Knox County renamed the Virginia Walker Apartments on Pleasant Ridge Road to "Autumn Landing." Officials unveiled the complex's new name and upgrades Monday morning at ten.

One hour later that same day, Knox County held another dedication ceremony at Bakertown Apartments on Bakertown Road. These units are now called "Natures Cove."

One Autumn Landing resident JoAlice Dunn said she's pleased with the changes.

"So many improvements - new appliances, painting, just things that we were doing without for so long," said Dunn.

Autumn Landing houses 102 units, and Nature's Cove contains 95 units.
