The 4th Annual Knoxville Horror Fest features shocking short films with submissions from around the region and the world. This three night film festival has an admission of $10 per night or $25 for a festival pass.

Pilot CrossKnox Race Set for October 28

The City of Knoxville and the Knoxville Track Club will host the Sixth Annual Pilot CrossKnox 10-Miler and 4-Mile Walk at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28th. 

The race, sponsored by Pilot, is run on City greenways beginning at the Alex Haley Statue in Morningside Park in East Knoxville and finishing 10 miles later at Bearden Elementary School in West Knoxville.

Summer Blalock is Ms. Tennessee United States, a pageant coach, and a pageant judge.

She started competing in beauty pageants at age 8.

"I was very clumsy and very shy as a child and now that I've done pageants I've completely changed. I'm outgoing, I'm free spirited," Summer Blalock said.

People lined up Wednesday morning, ready for the start of the Flip Flop Consignment.

A lot of consignments focus on children's items, but this is one of the few that focuses on clothes and other products for adults.
The owner holds the event twice a year.

She says it is a lot of work, and it is worth it.
